The Duties of the Assistant Professor of Mathematics are as follows:

Teach a range of mathematics courses including developmental mathematics, algebra, statistics, trigonometry, calculus, and differential equations; provide classroom, laboratory and/or team-teaching instruction and facilitate individualized and non-traditional approaches to learning as appropriate; responsible for conducting academic advising and assistance to students; develop and/or revise instructional materials with other faculty members, develop and apply instructional methods that engage students of varying learning styles and abilities, and develop and apply assessment strategies that maximize the learning process and measure student learning outcomes. Actively participate in ongoing curriculum and program review, as well as participate in college service activities. Teaching will be conducted at a community college. The college is an accredited public institution of higher education.

Requirements: Master's Degree in Mathematics or related field
