Job Description:
For this position, employees must have at least one of the following minimum qualifications:
1. Master's degree or higher in child development, early childhood education, human development, home economics/family and consumer studies with a specialization in child development/early childhood education, or educational psychology with a specialization in child development/early childhood education from an accredited college or university; OR
2. Bachelor's degree in any of the above AND Master's in social work, educational supervision, elementary education, special education, psychology, bilingual/bi-cultural education, life management/home economics, family life studies, or family and consumer studies from an accredited college or university; OR
3. Valid California Community College instructor credential appropriate to the subject per Education Code 87355 (issued prior to July 1, 1990); OR
4. A combination of education and experience that is at least the equivalent of items 1 or 2 above.
