Position Description:
Reporting to and under the supervision of the Dean, School of Mathematics, Sciences & Health Professions with daily work direction provided by the Department Chair in conjunction with departmental faculty, the Lab Coordinator, and the Senior Instructional Laboratory Technician performs a variety of technical and specialized duties related to the preparation, operation and maintenance of chemistry laboratories and related areas; operates and uses specialized equipment and instructional materials; provides information and technical assistance to faculty and students. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
Experience:
Two (2) years of responsible experience working in a laboratory setting or related area.

Education:
Education equivalent to an Associate’s degree (60 semester units) from an accredited institution is required. Two (2) years of direct experience in addition to that identified above may be substituted for each one-year (30 semester units) of college.
