Representative Duties and Responsibilities:
Instruct noncredit Adult Education classes as assigned. Participate in general faculty functions related to the educational program and in-service activities. Assignments may include day, evening, and/or weekend courses.

The successful candidate must meet one of the following criteria (per Title 5, Section 53412(g)):
1. Bachelor’s degree in home economics, life management, family and consumer studies, dietetics, food management, interior design, or clothing and textiles; OR
2. Associates degree in any of the subject above AND four (4) years of professional experience related to the subject of the course taught.
2. Valid California Community College instructor credential appropriate to the subject per Education Code 87355 (issued prior to July 1, 1990); OR
3. A combination of education and experience that is at least the equivalent of item 1 above (Applicants applying on the basis of equivalency must submit the Supplemental Application for Equivalency Determination form in addition to all other required materials).
