Women's Head Volleyball Coach (Part-Time)
POSITION: Part-Time Women's Head Volleyball Coach: Athletics; Haverhill Campus; up to 18 hours/week
REPORTS TO: Director of Athletics, Recreation and Intramurals
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- All aspects of coaching in a NJCAA Division III Program:
- Planning and Directing Practice
- In Game Coaching
- Development of a competitive athletic program
- Recruitment of student-athletes
- Advising team members
- Participation in department events and initiatives.
- Supervision of assistant coach
- Travel to away contests
Job Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
NOTE: Unless otherwise noted, all required qualifications must be met by date of hire.
- Associate degree or two years of college credit
- Previous coaching experience at the club, high school or collegiate level
- Applicant must have an appreciation for Junior College athletics and demonstrate a sincere commitment to principles of academic/athletic integrity
- Must have a valid driver's license
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Experience working with and supporting a culturally diverse population
BACKGROUND CHECK: Candidates will be required to pass a CORI and SORI check as a condition of employment.
Additional Information:
SALARY: $7,500.00, non-benefit position
