Job Description:
Irvine Valley College is looking for Part-time Spanish Language Instructors to teach in-person, hybrid or online Spanish courses as assigned. Instructors will also participate in general faculty functions and in-service activities. Assignments may include day and/or evening classes.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
For this position, employees must have at least one of the following:
1. Master's degree or higher in Spanish from an accredited college or university; OR
2. Bachelor's degree in Spanish from an accredited college or university AND a Master's degree in another language or linguistics; OR
3. Valid California Community College instructor credential appropriate to the subject per Education Code 87355 (issued prior to July 1, 1990); OR
4. A combination of education and experience that is at least the equivalent of items 1 or 2 above.

This is an ongoing recruitment and we are collecting a pool of qualified applicants. When the IVC Spanish Department has a need to fill, they refer to the “pool” of part time faculty applications on file.
