General Statement
Adjunct instructors teach courses within a specific discipline to a diverse student population on our main campus in Worcester and/or at additional satellite locations within our service area. Courses may be assigned for days, evenings or weekends, and responsibilities include instructional preparation, assessment of student performance and assistance to students. Adjunct faculty will attend a limited number of faculty meetings.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and demonstrated industry experience in accounting. Course offerings include financial accounting, federal taxation, managerial accounting, and computerized accounting (i.e., QuickBooks).
.Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree and/or CPA designation;
- Teaching/training experience;
- Demonstrated commitment to promoting diversity in the curriculum as appropriate;
- Ability to teach day, evening or weekend classes in more than one campus location.
